It's Time to Take Your Guitar Skills to a Whole New Level...

Joshua Voiles’ Guitar Acceleration Experience Details

The Guitar Acceleration Experience

Guitar Acceleration is an 8-week online learning program for ambitious guitarists who want to permanently up-level their skills at a rapid rate.
Developing your chops requires a proven practice approach, a can’t-fail curriculum, and the ability to consistently overcome obstacles.

Without a roadmap or guidance, the process of “skill installation” can be intimidating, overwhelming, frustrating, or boring.

Guitar Acceleration can fast-track your growth and save you years of boring, expensive, and injury-inducing trial and error.

We’ve already helped thousands of guitarists of all skill levels and styles, all around the world. We’d be honored to work with you, too.

Who Is The Program For?

Whether you want to play guitar casually around the campfire, become a pro who composes and performs, or reach levels of skill on the guitar that no player has ever gone, Guitar Acceleration will help you:

CLARIFY YOUR GOALS

Focus your attention like a laser-beam

Milk every ounce of benefit from your practice

Leverage your unique strengths

Reveal and rapidly improve your weaknesses

Make more progress in less time

Practice as effectively as possible

Make Practice consistent and inevitable

And you’ll do all this while still enjoying a rich life outside of the guitar (our Perfect Practice Structure only requires between 60-minutes (optimal) and 10-minutes per session).

What is the Guitar Acceleration Methodology?

“When I was a teen, I got addicted to video games (Halo was my poison of choice… my gamertag was “Obscure Terror”).

In a daze of pixilated blood, I mangled my wrists with severe tendinitis. I had to stop using my hands in most ways, which meant I could no longer play guitar. I went from playing for six hours a day to giving up on my dreams as a musician.”
Up to that point, guitar was the point of my life.

And now?

I was useless.

My girlfriend found my misery appalling (and for good reason).

All of my guitar goals and dreams had bit the dust, blasted to oblivion by pixelated bullets and blood.
I didn’t touch the guitar for two years.

I tried everything to get my hands back, starting with the simple stuff, but then progressing to increasingly fringe treatments…

  • Deep tissue massages four times a week
  • Bone-cracking chiropractic “care”
  • Muscle reactivation (AMIT) from the man who invented it (imagine having every inch of your flesh hammered by two sharp fingers for hours on end)
  • Structural integration therapy from the post-pioneers of the field (I’d walk away from these torture sessions with bruises and abrasions down my body; looking I got mauled by a tiger)

After traveling the world and spending gobs of borrowed money on anything that claimed it could cure my pain; my wrists were rehabilitated.

I could play guitar again!

Hallelujah!

The catch?

I could only play guitar for 10 minutes per day...

And this excruciatingly tiny morsel of time (5 hours a month) was all I could manage; or I’d be screwed.

On the bad months; I would overdo it.

I would play for longer than 10 minutes, and pay the price: Useless wrists and no guitar for weeks on end.

But this is how my guitar game transformed.

After keeping up this on-again, off-again cycle for years; I figured out how to make that 10 minutes of practice time incredibly effective.

In fact, I got to the point where…

...these 10-minute practice sessions were outpacing the productivity of the 6-hour binges I used to do.

I later realized my life-long dream of becoming an Ernie Ball Music Man guitarist, producing albums, and performing alongside my wife in our band Bloom. I’ve even managed to grow a modest fanbase online.

After seeing such jaw-dropping gains made from such short sessions, I spent years reverse-engineering my practice approach, and delving into the science and neurophysiology of how and why my methods work.

Thus, the Guitar Acceleration Methodology was born.

I wanted to make sure that the rapid progress I was able to make on the guitar wasn’t a fluke… so I started teaching these methods to others to see what would happen.

Now, with over 2,000 graduates spanning multiple countries and hundreds of transformations and success stories, the results are in:

The Guitar Acceleration Methodology works for you no matter what your skill level, age, or style of music.

You can now learn the 8 methods I have time-tested in over a dozen domains of expertise so you can install skills at an accelerated rate… and fall in love with the guitar again.
Play Video
Guitar Acceleration is intensive and challenging. There are no magic bullets, push-button successes. But we do guarantee results.

Taking your guitar skills to brand-new levels you can be proud of requires enormous focus, courage, and perseverance. Most of all, it requires consistent action and a willingness to play the long game.

As a twist on an old adage goes, “Give a man a proven guitar exercise and he’ll improve for a day. Teach him the art of Perfect Practice and he’ll improve for a lifetime.”

That’s why our primary aim is to train you how to practice, focus, and wire your brain to make the daily decisions that lead to mastery – so you have an approach that serves you for life.

Guitar Acceleration is for action-takers and trail-blazers who want to make the very most out of their passion for guitar and enhance their entire life in the process.

Everything is Online: No Travel Required

The entire program is facilitated, digitally, so you can participate from anywhere you have an internet connection.

All course materials, including streaming (and downloadable) videos, MP3s, transcripts, method summaries (aka cheat sheets), step-by-step action plans, Gamification software, and additional resources are within our online portal

You’ll also be able to ask questions, get feedback, and connect with fellow Guitar Accelerators and Mentors online.

Timing of the Program

There are eight core Modules in the Guitar Acceleration curriculum, and we release one Module per week.

Each Module contains anywhere from 5 to 15 individual video lessons.

You also get corresponding downloads, resources, and deep dives to help you integrate what you learn and apply it to your guitar practice so the habits––and progress––last.

Learn At Your Own Pace

You have lifetime access to Guitar Acceleration. You can go through the materials each week as they’re released in the student portal, or you can slow things down and work on your own schedule.

So if you’re working a full-time job, running a business, or juggling several part-time jobs… don’t worry about falling behind.

We have students who have many kids to care for, or who started the program during a transition or turning point. The 8-week online experience is always available to you.

Remember, developing skills on the guitar isn’t always a linear process. You can experience big bursts of improvement followed by a plateau for a period of time.

We want this training to be available to help you push through these moments of stagnation. So rest assured: you can revisit and review the training materials any time.

On top of that, when you signup today, you get free access to any and all updates and improvements we make to the program. (Even when the tuition price increases in the future. You only ever pay once. This is not a subscription, and you’ll never have to pay for new versions of the program).

Here’s How Much Time You’ll Need

We recommend between 2-4 hours per week to watch the Guitar Acceleration course content, complete your step-by-step weekly Action Plans and––if you’d like––engage with our mentors and the community.

Naturally, the more focus and attention you put into Guitar Acceleration, the more you’ll get out of it. This isn’t a free ride. You’re going to have to work hard if you want to get anywhere worthwhile.

But if you’re not able to carve out that much time at first, don’t worry. Many of our students go through the program as best they can, pause, and then return to it as their schedule allows. We support you at whatever pace you move, while still setting a context for accountability and growth.

We all need someone or something to hold our feet to the fire. To get us to do the hard things we avoid, and put in the effort that will deliver the results we’re after. Guitar Acceleration will push and challenge you, the moment you are ready for it.

You’ll Get Accountability, Support, and Community

If you’re unsure with where to start, what to focus on, or feel over your head about how to up-level your guitar skills – we can help.

Midway through the program when you need it most, Guitar Acceleration comes with ”accountability partners” who can point you to rich resources for improving your playing, who can call you out if you’re slacking off, who can give you potent feedback that can lead to breakthroughs, and who will encourage and support you when you’re feeling frustrated, bored, overwhelmed, or confused.

Dedicated Guitar Acceleration Mentors

Ask questions and get feedback from our talented mentors. These fellow guitarists and skill installers bring a depth of knowledge, expertise, and hands-on experience to ensure you never feel lost or left behind. Perhaps more importantly; they can pinpoint weaknesses in your playing that will hold you back if you don’t address them, and offer insight into how you can take advantage of your strengths.

Active Lesson Comments

Under each training video in the Guitar Acceleration online portal, you’re invited to comment and get responses from graduates, fellow students, the Artist Acceleration team and Joshua (he makes an effort to respond to almost every single comment inside the online portal).

A Positive, Supportive Community

You’re about to join a thriving community of like-minded players who are all versed in the Guitar Acceleration Methodology. There are players of all ages, styles, and skill levels, seasoned mentors and instructors, and folks who very well may turn into creative collaborators or lifelong friends.

The Answer Vault

You’ll have access to hundreds of other students’ questions, along with answers from Joshua, the Guitar Acceleration mentors, so you’ll always have clear answers to your most pressing questions.

COURSE BREAKDOWN

The Core Curriculum

There are eight core training Modules in total, which makes this a 60-day experience.

Each week, you get to learn the ins and outs of a single method and how to apply it to the guitar.

There’s also a library of bonus trainings, advanced trainings (often called “Deep Dives”) and master classes to help make the Guitar Acceleration Methodology something that will benefit you for life, long after the program ends.

Here’s the exact curriculum, breaking down each module in detail so you can make sure the program is a good fit for you.

MODULE 1

Myelinogenesis

MYELINOGENESIS

How to Practice for Maximum Progress

Accelerated Guitarists know: If you practice on the edge of your comfort zone; you will improve. And often rapidly.

But most players spend approximately 2 minutes doing this during their practice sessions. This is why practice is boring, and why most of their time is wasted.

This method prevents you from being one of those players who have been playing for ten years... but in reality, they've only made a year’s worth of progress (and then repeated it 9 times!)

Remarkably, the specific way to practice your instrument is rarely talked about in such actionable detail.

The players who start using the Myelinogenesis method report making more progress in mere hours than they’ve had in months, all because they’ve been practicing ineffectively for years.

In this module, you’ll discover how to practically guarantee you become the guitarist you aspire to be… by learning how to produce the substance in your brain that’s responsible for all skill.

This substance––called myelin––is the ultimate learning accelerator. It’s what enables you to achieve maximum results in minimum time, and improve as fast as humanly possible.

Learning how to produce this substance in your brain is the most important investment you’ll make in your skill development. It turns any action into something that feels automatic and second-nature, like you’ve always possessed the ability. It makes mastery possible.

And anyone can produce this substance. Young or old, expert or beginner.

You produce this substance through deep, deliberate practice. These moments of practice are powerful, intensely productive hours where legendary skill is forged. It’s practice that produces satisfying and motivating progress (instead of frustration or disappointment).

MODULE 2

Nanosynthesis

NANOSYNTHESIS

What to Practice for Maximum Progress

Accelerated Guitarists know: If you focus on a single skill at a time and emulate the guitar masters; you will improve.

But most players don’t know what to practice for maximum progress, so they practice a hodgepodge of techniques during their practice sessions. This is why practice is overwhelming and their progress is punishingly slow.

I’ve asked over 6,200 guitar players (and counting) what their biggest challenges and goals are, and I’ve discovered that one of the most common frustrations players have is:

What am I supposed to practice?

With the endless amount of options and noise out there… What can I practice that I’ll not only enjoy, but will also guarantee growth?

Nanosynthesis reduces the intimidation, boredom, confusion, and frustration by showing you what the next best thing to practice is based on your specific goals.

You want practice material that motivates you, but also guarantees meaningful progress in minimum time.

In this module, you’ll learn how to separate the signal from the noise, pinpoint what to practice for achieving your goals rapidly, and discover the best material to learn to build momentum.

Given the amount of noise and endless options out there… This will save you hours of wasted time, flicking through YouTube videos and digging up exercises and tutorials that may or may not actually improve your playing, and may be extremely boring to practice in the first place.

Because of my carpal tunnel, I didn’t have time to dabble in a bunch of different techniques or sit around learning things, hoping to stumble upon the thing that would take me to the next level. I needed to know that what I was learning was maximally effective and was truly gonna propel me to where I wanted to go.

In this module, you’ll learn what to learn for maximum progress and how to learn it; quick and deep.
  • Learn what to practice in to make alarming progress in minimum time
  • Discover how to attain an inspiring level of fluency with any skill on the guitar (within 30 days or less)
  • Learn how to reduce or eliminate confusion, frustration, overwhelm, and the biggest thief of progress: procrastination
  • Acquire the ability to zoom in and make even the most impossible things playable
Guitar Acceleration graduate, Brent, said it best:

MODULE 3

Recoding

RECODING

When to Practice for Maximum Progress

Accelerated Guitarists know: If you make effective practice a consistent and automatic part of your day; you will improve.

But most players practice only when they feel like it or can will themselves to do it. One day here, a weekend there. This is why their progress is inconsistent and practice feels intimidating.

The power of practicing consistently, even for ten minutes a day, can compound over time. I learned this the hard way:

With my wrists wrecked and hell to pay if I overdid it, I had to make practice a consistent thing if I expected to make and maintain any progress. I could only practice for 10 minutes a day, but as long as I put in that 10 minutes––no matter what––I would improve.

In this module, you’ll learn how to make practice consistent, automatic, inevitable, and––dare I say––unavoidable.

You know you gotta keep practicing in order to get to where you want to go. So how do you maintain the motivation to continue when you become frustrated from not improving?

Oddly enough, the biggest issue isn’t motivation. In fact, in Method #3, you’ll learn how to make motivation irrelevant. You’ll discover how to practice consistently regardless of whether you feel  motivated to do so

They say that consistency is key. But here’s something even more useful: Automating consistency is the key to mastery.

If you can make consistency automatic, you no longer have to think about it, you no longer have to will yourself to do something, you no longer require motivation; effective practice just happens. And it’ll make everything about your day better. That’s what you’ll learn how to do in Recoding.

  • How to make Deep Practice automatic, consistent, and inevitable
  • How to free yourself from ever having to muster up willpower or find motivation to practice the guitar
  • How to make fluency with the skill you’ve targeted unavoidable
  • How to reinforce the habit of Deep Practice to make it more painful to not follow through with practice than to practice

MODULE 4

Gamification

GAMIFICATION

How to Measure What Matters

Accelerated Guitarists know: If you measure the true indicators of progress properly; you will improve.

But most players measure nothing, and some measure vanity metrics like BPM (speed) or time spent practicing (usually in a lazy and ineffective manner). This is why their progress is uncertain and they have no idea what to focus on.

With a proven practice structure and all of your attention aimed at the right thing, you can make wild leaps in progress, shockingly fast.

“What gets measured gets mastered.”

Which means the inverse is true: if it’s not measured, it’s not being mastered.

So you have to know what to measure in the first place.

Then, you have to have a way of measuring it.

Finally, you have to have an approach that improves what you’re measuring.

Gamification gives you all three.

Gamification helps you structure your practice sessions to be maximally productive. It removes all ambiguity so you can make rapid progress.

You’ll discover the perfect formula for how much time to dedicate to each exercise or scenario for maximum results, how to kickoff and conclude your sessions based on your previous session, and how to make huge progress even if you only have 10 minutes of practice time available.

In other words; you’ll know exactly what to practice, in what order, and for how long.

When I only had five to 10 minutes to practice, I really needed to know whether or not I was improving in ways that actually mattered (we’re not talking vanity or background metrics like BPM here).

Gamification kept me going during those days and those nights of frustration when I wished I could practice for an hour a day like most players, or four hours a day like I used to as a teenager.

  • You’ll discover how to make Deep Practice as fun, addicting, and rewarding as even the most alluring vices (we’re talking sex, drugs, movies, social media, donuts… the works!)
  • You’ll discover exactly how much time to dedicate to each guitar exercise during your Deep Practice
  • You’ll learn how to measure the Metrics That Matter (the true indicators of progress) on the guitar
  • You’ll discover a feedback mechanism that will give you similar addicting and rewarding neurological rewards that the best of video games give

MODULE 5

Neurohacking

NEUROHACKING

How to Get Unstuck

Accelerated Guitarists know: If you fine-tune and optimize your guitar, environment, and neurophysiology; you will improve.

But most players never alter their practice conditions to effectively address trouble spots and weaknesses. This is why they hit the dreaded “guitar plateau” and stay stuck for years. Or decades.

Can you relate to any of these statements from fellow guitarists?
  • “I feel like no matter what I do I’m stuck and can’t improve. This has been going on for years. My playing is stale and has nothing new.”
  • “It’s frustrating not being able to leave the speed I’ve been stuck on forever.”
  • “Hitting plateaus coming into my adult life and becoming frustrated with my lack of progression has led me to spend less and less time on my music.”

If you can relate to this, you’re clearly not alone. Before I discovered Neurohacking, my alternate picking speed had been stuck at 200 BPM for years. After using the Neurohacking method for three weeks – I shot up to 280 BPM:

And that’s what you’ll discover in Neurohacking; how to blast past walls in your playing, and prevent yourself from ever getting stuck in the first place.

This method was born out of the question, “How can I get 10x the benefit out of a single rep on the guitar?” Meaning, how can I make 10x more progress than is conventional every single time I play a certain run, riff, scale, or exercise?

This is exactly what you’ll discover how to do in Method #5.

Remember: A 1% gain in your capability compounds to massive gains over time. Expert performers know this and take advantage of anything that will give them an edge.

MODULE 6

Incubation

INCUBATION

How to Improve Without Practice

Acceleration Guitarists know: If you live and breathe guitar; you will improve (even during your downtime).

But most players never take advantage of their idle moments (including sleep, travel, and screen time), and they only make progress when they have a guitar in-hand. This is why they are missing out on the vast majority of the gains available in a 24-hour period.

One of the top 5 frustrations for players I’ve surveyed is they simply don’t have enough hours or energy in a day to put in the practice time they wish they could. They ask,

"How can I possibly improve my guitar skills if I have no time to practice?"

In Incubation, you’ll discover how to gain skill anytime, anywhere, without touching the guitar. You’ll discover how to passively amplify your abilities… even while you sleep.

So far, every one of the methods we’ve covered requires direct, active effort with the guitar in hand. It requires consistently playing on the edge of your ability in order to gain new ground.

When you consider the brain only has a maximum of six hours per day in which it can myelinate, and most players can only squeeze in 60 minutes (4.1%)…

What about the remaining 96% of your time when you’re not playing guitar?
What about your downtime?

Is there a way to install and strengthen skills during those idle intervals between Deep Practice sessions?

Enter Incubation (aka Downtime Development). It’s how to progress without practice.

Incubation is how you become a better player without the strenuous effort. It advances the starting line for your Deep Practice before each session begins. It keeps momentum moving.

Of course, Incubation only works if you consistently Deep Practice, too. Otherwise, no integration takes place. But Incubation multiplies your rate of growth by making the most of your idle time.

I owe a lot to Incubation. There are entire techniques I never would’ve installed without it. And in the height of my wrist woes, sometimes Incubation was all I could do (since playing the guitar wasn’t even an option).

Incubation allowed me to become friends with the guitar again when my body was ready, and see it fresh eyes. I could bring new knowledge and awareness to the instrument and dance with it in a way that was previously impossible.
  • How to progress without practice
  • How to turn sleep into a skill-enhancing goldmine
  • How to use your mind to myelinate almost as effectively as when Deep Practicing with your guitar
  • How to live, breathe, and sleep guitar skill development without any added strain or time

MODULE 7

Bioupgrading

BIOUPGRADING

How to Unlock Your Highest Potential

Accelerated Guitarists know: If you upgrade your body and brain, you can go places no other player has ever gone.

But most players never tend to their health, let alone leverage it to increase their capacity and capability. This is why they suffer from permanent injuries, or fail to realize their full potential.
Like it or not, your body and brain are the bridge between you and the guitar. If you don’t take care of it, you not only diminish your capacity for skill, but you can even injure yourself. I thought I was in rare company when I could no longer play the guitar due to tendinitis.

But after asking several thousand other players about their biggest challenges when it comes to their playing, I’ve heard again and again heartbreaking complaints about carpal tunnel, tendinitis, neuropathy, back pain, and other hand injuries that prevent them from practicing and progressing the way they want to.

I personally used Bioupgrading to reverse my injury and bring myself from not being able to play at all, to being able to play for 10 minutes, to eventually being able to play for hours at a stretch; and with more focus, precision, endurance, and creativity than ever before.

Instead of your body being a burning bridge between you and the guitar; we’ll upgrade it from wood to concrete, then concrete to steel, then steel to Vibranium and beyond.

Whether your body is compromised or you’re already in great shape; there is no ceiling to how far you can take your body and brain when you discover how to Bioupgrade in Week seven of the Guitar Acceleration Experience.
  • How to unlock hidden capacities and capabilities within your body and brain
  • How to permanently raise the ceiling on your guitar abilities
  • How to produce more myelin, and maintain the myelin you’ve already earned
  • How to gain the muscles that are most essential to guitar playing
  • How to prevent and reverse even the most gnarly of injuries

MODULE 8

Meta

META

Make Mastery Meaningful

Accelerated Guitarists know: If you surround yourself with similarly-skilled peers and mentors; you will improve.

But most players have no one they can depend on to encourage and support them, or point out their blind spots and weaknesses through effective feedback. This is why they stay stuck repeating the same mistakes and make bad habits that never go away.

Ever feel like you’re not a musician, but merely a guitar player?

Meta is the answer to being able to play on the guitar what is in your head. It’s how you translate ideas into sound. It’s how you take a skill you’ve worked on and start to own it like it’s yours.

Meta is how to use the skills you already have to make music or play what you love on the guitar.

(Most of the time, you’re already more than good enough, you just gotta use the skills you accumulated. Sometimes it takes some outside perspective to notice and take advantage of this. Meta gives you that gift, by letting you see yourself through the eyes of others).
  • How creating with the skill you’ve targeted––well before you feel ready––is the fastest and funnest way to fluency
  • How to turn what you hear in your head (your ideas) into real, recorded music
  • How to manufacture unstoppable motivation by imbuing deep meaning into your pursuit of mastery
  • How to get feedback from others to supercharge your skills (and expose that which you are blind to)

Additional Resources Included with Guitar Acceleration

In addition to the eight core learning Modules, you’ll also get a comprehensive library of advanced trainings, software, and resources to develop skills at an accelerated rate…

GAMIFICATION INTERFACE

The Gamification Interface is your tool for measuring and evaluating your playing so that you can improve up to 40% faster.

It’s kind of like having a mentor tracking your every move, providing you with real-time feedback that guides you in exactly what to do and when to do it in order to address your weaknesses and rapidly improve your strengths.

It shows you how much (or how little) you’ve improved over time, which makes your progress unambiguous and undeniable.

Whenever you sound mechanical or sterile instead of musical, or you are inconsistent, or your endurance wanes and your playing becomes sloppy, it measures it, and tracks your progress or regression over time.

Let’s Sum It Up — Here’s Everything Included In Your Tuition

It’s important that you know the enormous value you’ll get in this program. These numbers are not inflated — they’re an honest, good faith estimate based on customer feedback (which you can read below) and my hourly rate since you cannot purchase components of Guitar Acceleration separately.

Early on, I had to make a decision:

Do I want to be yet another online guitar lessons company that offers dozens––or even hundreds––of different courses that can overwhelm and confuse people… that you have to pay an endless subscription fee to access?

Or do I want to distill only the essential into the best possible program I can provide and give people lifetime access to the program for a single tuition fee? I went with the latter approach 🙂

THE CORE GUITAR ACCELERATION METHODOLOGY TRAINING

You get the entire Skill Acceleration Methodology, applied to the guitar. This eight Module system has taken over 10 years and hundreds of thousands of dollars to learn, distill, refine and package for you in an easy-to-follow format that gets results. I’ve used this methodology to install dozens of skills from writing, music, album production, trading and investing, marketing and business, web development, videography, public speaking, TaeKwonDo, competitive trading card gaming, and everything in between.

And it’s not just me: the common theme among participants of the program is that the methodology spills over into other areas in their lives. These life changes being worth $1,999 is a no-brainer.

How Much Does It Cost?

Whenever someone graduates from Guitar Acceleration, I schedule a call to speak with them 1-on-1 about their experience.

These conversations are awesome, and will sometimes last for over an hour!

The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive (you can read some of the testimonials below).

And here’s what I’ve found:

Nearly half of the graduates say the Guitar Acceleration program is too cheap.

They say this because the program is unlike anything they’ve ever experienced. It’s actually effective at helping players get unstuck and reach all new heights in their playing.

With all of the bonuses, it’s been suggested the program should cost $2,997. This is very much in line with the sort of value I set out to create.

I even had one guy who couldn’t put a price on it and said it was worth ten million 😆

On average, based on what all the graduates have said, the program is worth 76% more than what they paid.

Based on that data, I should be charging no less than $500 for the program.

Guitar Acceleration Reviews

When you do the work and stay committed, the results you can experience are extraordinary.

If you’re on the fence, here are some inspiring success stories from guitarists who recently graduated the program…

5/5

This is hands down the best thing I ever did for my guitar playing. It has changed the way I see and hear the guitar and I honestly feel like there’s no limits to where I can take and apply this methodology. I just wish it was around 15 years ago! This whole experience has reignited my passion for guitar and I’ve never been more motivated or excited to play. Thank you!

I’m already extremely proud and have so much more confidence as a guitar player, at this point I’ve already reached half my goal, and it’s only day 6, and really only my third session. That’s just insane to me, now it’s time to push the boundaries as far as I can and who knows…

About Joshua Voiles, Founder of Guitar Acceleration

I know what it takes to build something from nothing. I grew up in a trailer park where the clash of gangbangers and cults were a regular occurrence. Most of my friends barely made it out of high school. And then, some of them died, and others ended up in prison for dealing drugs. I lucked out (there’s no other way to put it). I decided to drop out of school and play guitar full-time.

After a string of successes, I remember moving into a big dumb house with a custom-built home studio. On Halloween, one of the neighbors who came to the door looked inside and saw my guitar resting against the couch. He said, with a mocking encouragement, “Keeping the dream alive, I see!”

He didn’t realize that he was exactly right. After 15 years of struggling to play guitar with my tendinitis, guitar had become my profession. I fulfilled my teenage-dream of being endorsed by Ernie Ball Music Man. I travelled around the world performing in music videos that were seen by hundreds of thousands of people. And I made a living doing what I love.

There’s never been a better time to say “yes” to your goals as a guitarist and pursue it like your life depends on it. Because, so long as you act responsibly and tend to your duties along the way, I believe it does. A life skirting away from delving into your dream is a life half-lived.

This Is Your Time

Remember: We’re in this guitar game together. Keep practicing, progressing, and playing your heart out. Don’t let anyone or anything stop you from making the music only you can make.

On behalf of myself, our team and our entire Guitar Acceleration community, we sincerely hope to have the honor and privilege of working with you.

FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers
Yes and no. This methodology is what I wish I knew when I first started my guitar journey 20 years ago. It would have saved me a whole lot of pain and frustratingly slow progress. However, most of the students in this program are intermediate players. And many of the examples in the program demonstrate advanced techniques. If that doesn’t intimidate you and you’re ready to challenge yourself – let’s do this! But if you are absolutely brand-new to the guitar, you’ll want to supplement this training with the basics that we do not cover (I recommend my man, Justin and his lessons here)
Yes! If you are a good fit for the program, we can absolutely hook you up with a payment plan.

If you would like even more flexibility given these trying times, please contact mari (at) artistacceleration.com. She’ll hook you up!

Absolutely! We’ve got players of all styles and genres in our community, from Blues, Metal, Rock, Acoustic, Classical, Fingerstyle, Singer-songwriter, Jazz, Funk, and everything in between!

Both! There are many examples in different genres, both Acoustic and Electric. The principles of perfect practice are what matter most here, so come with whatever guitar you’ve got!

Indeed! We’ve had bassists (including Mischa Marks and Rodney ), pianists, singers, and drummers (such as JP Bouvet, who regularly plays for greats like Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai, Tosin Abasi, and Zakk Wylde) go through the program.

The Skill Acceleration Methodology works for any skill you are developing, but we focus on the guitar in our demonstrations.

Nope, except for as examples.

Instead, we show you what material makes the most sense to master for your goals, or take the material you already have and want to master and get you there faster.

But this program is about how to learn, practice, and develop skills at an accelerated pace. As part of that aim, we show you what the best thing is you can practice based on your specific goals… But we do not teach specific scales, modes, or music theory.

If you find this material elsewhere we will show you how to learn and master any material in record time (and have more fun in the process).

You pay only once, and get lifetime access to the program (and that includes any and all updates we make). No subscription fees. No hidden charges. You aren’t locking yourself into any kind of membership. This is an experience that you can go through at your own pace and its benefits will last for the rest of your life and enhance any other material or course you might already be a part of or participate in later.
Indeed! You can read the full triple guarantee above. If you do the work, we guarantee you’ll get results. Even so, you can go through the entire experience, watch your skills reach a whole new level, and still ask for your money back if you want. We’re here to serve you and if for any reason you want a refund, we’ve got your back and will refund you on the spot, no questions asked!
Among other differences… Most courses are focused on specific exercises and technique, or theory. With this course, we focus on the ins and outs of how to learn efficiently and how to practice effectively.

Because of my carpal tunnel, this Methodology was born out of pursuing and experimenting this question for a decade:

“How can I make an hour’s worth of progress in 10 minutes?”

(Since that was the maximum amount of time I could play in a day).

And that’s what you will learn here.

We don’t bombard you with information. Instead, we help you take action so that you become the player you want to be. And we guarantee results. That’s why the course is carefully structured from week-to-week.

If you are looking for endless excellent material that you can get buried by and entertained by and thus might never use (if you’re anything like me, that is 😅)… there are plenty of truly great options out there (TrueFire, JamPlay, Guitar Tricks, to name but a few).

But this is not that.

You’re about to learn how to practice in a way that leads to rapid progress, and you can use these methods to learn anything you want from here on out and master it sooner rather than later.

As the old saying goes, we teach you how to fish instead of giving you a fish. And we show you how to separate the signal from the noise so that everything you learn from here on out will lead to maximum progress in minimum time.
